What happens next

If you'd like support after your MOT, we'll recommend one of four 12-week programmes.

If we find anything that needs medical attention, we'll refer you to your GP straight away with a written summary.

Questions

Do I need to fast before the blood test?

Yes. Your blood is taken in the morning after an overnight fast, usually between 7 and 11 am, because testosterone and insulin results are most accurate then.

Is this instead of my GP?

No. We work alongside your GP. If we find anything that needs medical attention, we refer you with a written summary.

Can my partner book it for me?

Yes. Many MOTs are booked by partners or family. We'll just need your consent before the assessment.

Do you prescribe testosterone?

No. If treatment may be appropriate, we refer you to your GP or a specialist.

Can I do this from anywhere in the UK?

Yes. The Remote MOT runs by video, with blood taken at a partner site near you or with a home finger-prick kit.

How does the home blood test work?

We post you a kit with clear instructions. You take a small finger-prick sample in the morning and post it back to the laboratory in the prepaid envelope.
